One of the rattiest consists I've seen in a while hauls a long Grand Forks - Northtown manifest southward at Merrifield.

With a string of empty grain cars on the drawbar, three BNSF C44-9w's head upgrade out of Caliente, CA and head for Tehachapi. The two lead units reflect the faded glory of the now gone Santa Fe.

With a relief crew on board, this merchandise train is finally on the move to Willmar after an entire day of sitting west of Breckenridge, MN due to overnight storm damage.
